About GTS Reading Ltd

GTS Reading Ltd is a logistics and transport company based in Padworth, Reading, England. Established in 2015, we provide a wide range of haulage, delivery, and logistics services across the United Kingdom, including lorry mounted crane (HIAB) deliveries, traction-only services, festival and event logistics, stone slab deliveries, 2-man deliveries, and same-day courier services.


Use of Our Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the website in any way that breaches applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Use the website in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect

All transport and logistics services provided by GTS Reading Ltd are subject to these Terms and any additional terms agreed in writing between GTS and the client.

Quotations and pricing:

  • All quotations are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated
  • Prices are subject to change without notice and may vary depending on factors including fuel costs, route, weight, dimensions, access requirements, and urgency of service
  • Unless stated otherwise, all prices are quoted exclusive of VAT

Booking and confirmation:

  • A booking is confirmed once GTS has accepted the order either verbally, in writing, or by email
  • It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete information regarding the goods, collection and delivery addresses, access requirements, and any special handling instructions

Collection and delivery:

  • We will use reasonable endeavours to collect and deliver goods within the agreed timeframes. However, all delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing
  • GTS shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, severe weather, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, industrial action, or acts of God
  • The client must ensure that suitable access is available at both the collection and delivery points for our vehicles and personnel

Liability

Goods in transit:

  • GTS takes reasonable care in the handling, loading, and transport of all goods. We carry Goods in Transit insurance and Public Liability insurance
  • Claims for loss or damage to goods must be notified to GTS in writing within 7 days of delivery
  • GTS liability for loss or damage shall be limited to the lesser of the market value of the goods or the amount recoverable under our Goods in Transit insurance policy
  • GTS shall not be liable for damage caused by inadequate or improper packaging by the client, inherent defects in the goods, or incorrect information provided by the client

General liability:

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, GTS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with our services or your use of our website
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law

Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be communicated to GTS as soon as possible
  • Where a vehicle has already been dispatched or allocated, a cancellation fee may apply. The amount will depend on the circumstances and will be communicated to you at the time of cancellation
  • GTS reserves the right to cancel or refuse any booking at our discretion

Payment Terms

  • Payment terms are as agreed between GTS and the client. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date
  • GTS reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
  • We reserve the right to suspend services if payment is overdue

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of GTS Reading Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any content from our website without our prior written consent.

The GTS name, logo, and slogan “Any freight, Anywhere, Any time” are trademarks of GTS Reading Ltd.
